Items in this category may be over-stocked, dinged or dented, or are reaching their "best by" date. Over the past 35+ years, we've collected a bunch of items we will occasionally list for sale here. In addition, we may list used items on consignment. This means a great deal for you! 

Some items may be past their "best by" date or recommended "use by" date. Often, experience has shown this is usually not critical.

For example, I have successfully, with no issues, used dry brewing yeast found laying around the house that was 3 or more years past its "best by" date.

Likewise, many customers report making wine from kits several years old ( 9 years is the oldest I've heard about ), with no issues. Maybe a little darkening of the juice.

Many of these items are very limited in quantity, and may be sold off our retail floor. In this case, we will offer a comparable item, a credit, or simply a refund. We only ask for your understanding in the case we may be out of a limited item.
