First of all, I must say congratulations! If this is your first batch of home brew, welcome to great hobby of homebrewing. You are about to begin a hobby that may well be with you forever. Forever sounds like a long time, but so does two weeks, when you're waiting for your first batch (or fifth) to carbonate.
The point is, brewing is fun, brewing is easy and brewing can provide you with a lifelong challenge of creative expression that doesn't end when the brewing is done. Brewing is a hobby you can share with your friends, your family (think Christmas and Birthday presents), your local brew club, and who knows, maybe the world! Well, on with the show!
