a fining agent that can be used as a post boil alternative or supplement to Irish moss -
How to use fining gelatin:
- Boil 1 cup of water
- cool to 170 º Farenheit
- add one half (1/2) teaspoon gelatin per 5 gallon batch
- let bloom for 10-15 minutes,
- allowing to cool to at least 130º F
- add to beer in secondary fermenter
- cold crash if possible
- let condition for 1 week
- enjoy the freshest, clearest beer you've ever tasted!
