Malto Dextrin is a non- fermentable sugar added to wort during the boil. It is used to add body without changing the flavor profile of a beer. Used for mouth feel and improved head retention.

Malto Dextrin is made from potato starch, and can be used in Gluten Free Brewing to add body.
